Epic American Bike Trip

Dr. MillsGeneral

On August 16, 2024, Molley and I set off on an adventure to ride to Jackson, Wyoming, because I had a week's work to do on a book deal. Then we thought, well, let's not stop there, let's do the Redwoods, California coast, Route 66, and see what trouble we can get up to. We got up to plenty. We rode back into New York City on September 20. 35 days of riding. 250 - 500 miles per day. A few near-death experiences, but generally, it was a life-changing adventure. Molley shot the video on her iPhone from the back seat, and I edited it in hotel rooms at night after working on books. We added original music tracks to each to take you on the journey. We even wrote a song on the road called I'm Dead, But I'm Pushing Through It which you can hear in the second to last video. That is a long way to ride, but now we feel like we can go anywhere. 7581 miles in all.
